We have the coolest trampoline in the neighborhood, probably even in the world! My Paw-Paw spray painted it pink then put it up in our backyard while we were gone. When we saw it my sister and I screamed and raced to get on it. I think we have jumped around bajillion hours on it!!

My pets started off the night by putting our cookies, which I DO NOT EAT, and milk....which I love!
Obviously I thought the milk was for me and went to check it out. Little did I know it's for some fat guy in a red suit....great, just what I want...another guy in the house.
The next morning the milk was gone, much to my disappointment, and there were toys all over the room.
Much shrieking came from my pets, which in turn made me escape to under a nice, safe, dark bed.
However, the day ended nicely, with me finding a cozy warm spot to curl up in...maybe when I wake up I will realize that was all just a dream!

Ella and I got to decorate the entire Christmas tree by ourselves!!! My mom let us put the ornaments anywhere we wanted. We even got to take a picture holding our special "middle name" ornaments. Ella climbed on top of a step stool to help hang them higher. The next morning I went back and touched up a few spots! I think it looks beautiful! What do you think?

My sweet friend Morgan, invited all of us girls to a tea party at the Country Club. It was a traditional English tea prepared by a British chef. The chocolate chip scones were by far the girl's favorite! (The moms liked them as well along with brandy butter, cucumber sandwiches, real whipped cream and 20 different kinds of tea!) What a fun and sassy treat for us during a busy school week!

My first day of Kindergarten was at home! My mom is my teacher and I love it! We do a lot of fun things and I even have my own desk! I love doing Science experiments, reading books, playing games and Art. I even get to play on the computer too!

At the beginning of the summer I was very afraid of the water. I liked to play on the steps and in the baby pool. However, being at the pool 3 or 4 times a week really helped me get brave! I taught myself how to jump off the side, swim (with and without holding my nose), and I even swam across the deep end one day! My mom told me I would have to take swim lessons unless I knew how to swim...so I taught myself...I did NOT want to take swim lessons! This video is at the beginning of the summer, mom and dad told me they were going to show it to my Mimi and Pawpaw so I needed to do my best. I can swim a lot better now!

Ella was invited to go to dance class with her sweet friend Gracie. She is wearing the black and pink leotard. When we got there they gave her a set of tap and ballet shoes to borrow. The teacher did 20 minutes of tap, 20 minutes of ballet and 20 minutes of tumbling. At the end I asked Ella which one she liked the best and she said "The twirling!" (Which means ballet!)You can hear Chloe in the middle of the video, she was not happy she wasn't allowed out there to twirl too.

1. Dig right in and get good and messy...make sure your shirt is off.
2. Take a big scoop and aim for your mouth.
3. Use your hands to get it in if help is needed.
4. If some of it spills on your body just lick it off if you can reach it.

Now I know I have not posted in a long time BUT my pet changed houses on me. The nerve of her....and she did not consult me! Just dragged me along like it was her decision. I do have to say, on her behalf, I like the house. (Thank goodness!) There are many more rooms to hide in. With that 2-year-old of hers running around, and trying to pick me up all the time, combined with that 4-year-old who always screams, and tries to dress me up in pink outfits, I need these places to hide! I have even had to go outside (GASP! I KNOW!) just to escape them! I do not like it outside, it is bright and dirty and the ground is hard. I have sensitive paws! However, I have finally figured out a way to sleep in my own house. I sleep with one eye always open. It works quite well. Now if I can just figure out a way to get rid of the dumb dog!

This seems to be the question I find me asking myself whenever the house gets quiet or I haven't heard Chloe's voice in more than a minute. Yesterday was no different, I had not heard from her so I started searching the house and when I still couldn't find her I said "Chloe where are you?" That is when I heard a giggle. Only this giggle came from the formal dining room, a room she is never in, there is nothing to do in there. I rounded the corner in the kichen and this is what I saw...(my camera was sitting on the kitchen countertop so I grabbed it and snapped a picture.)

Mom made us alphabet pasta for lunch the other day. I don't like mine with red sauce, like Chloe does, so I have butter on it. I LOVED the letters. I sang the ABC song while I ate and I spelled out my name ON THE TABLE! I know how to spell my first name but Mom told me the letters to my second name and I did that too! I had to eat part of a 'V' to get the second 'L' in Ella but it still looks good. I was going to dig in Chloe's bowl for an 'L' but like I said before it had red sauce all over it. Yuck!

As most of you know we moved into a new house at the end of October. We have a big, beautiful old pecan tree next to our drive-way. In fact it is so big that it is 15 and a half feet around! This has been our beach cabin we have gone to for vacation the past two years.
This is all that remains of it after Hurricane Ike. Please continue to keep Crystal Beach, Gilchrist Beach and High Island in your prayers. I know that many more places were hurt from the storm but these places hold a special place in my heart. My very first teaching job was in High Island and 80% of the students came from Crystal Beach and Gilchrist Beach. Many of the faculty did as well. I think of them often. The third graders I taught are seniors in high school this year. I wonder what will happen to them now. However, even in the midst of all this chaos and heartbreak isn't it comforting to know that our God is in control?

First you grab a smore from the picnic table and run away from any grown-ups as fast as you can!
Second, you open up the smore and smash it into your face. This is in order to get to the chocolate.
Next, you know you are successful if you can feel the melted chocolate on your face.
Last, make sure you strike a big chocolate covered pose for the camera so everyone can see what they are missing! It really helps to rub it in if you are licking your lips like I am in this picture!

Hi everyone! My mom and dad's computer is broken, in fact it has been broken for almost a month! That is why my we don't have any new posts. Chloe is doing good, she has been walking the past 3 weeks, mom and dad are really proud. Oh, and I have gotten to go swimming a whole lot! Chloe and I spent 4 days with my Mimi and Pawpaw while mom and dad went on vacation. They went to some place on a beach called Cozumel. I think we had much more fun! I am going to Moomoo and Poppy's this week with my dad for a baseball something! So that is about it, a lot going on! It's not easy being a superhero. I had to show my cousin Ethan all the steps you have to do in order to be a proper superhero.

1. First you have to get a cape and securely tie it around your neck.

2. Second, in order to fly you must spread your arms out while looking down upon the city you will be saving.

3. Third, every great superhero must pick their nose in order to smell trouble.

I was so excited the other day when Ella let me try something different on her hair! I put it in two braided pigtails. It looked so cute! Of course it only lasted for the car ride on the way to school, but at least she let me do it!

Going to Macey's - by Ella

One of my favorite things about going to see Macey is not only do I get to play with her, but she has stairs! I love stairs, they are the best! Macey and I went up and down them the whole weekend, we even played games on them!

We also cooked homemade pizzas with Aunt Jenny! Macey and I wore our new aprons that our great-aunt Pat gave us for Christmas. (Actually I wore Macey's and she wore her sister Allie's since mine was at home. ) I had flour everywhere, all over my hands and face, it was a lot of fun. I ate every bite of my pizza!

Macey is so lucky, she has a park right outside her front door! We played there every day, all three days. Plus the park is always fun when you have your cousin there to play with you!

The last night we were there Aunt Jenny let us make pudding! I got to hold the electric mixer by myself! Mom filmed because she said something about how she isn't as brave as Aunt Jenny is with letting 3 year olds use power tools. I am almost 4 so I know she wasn't talking about me! We had such a great trip, I can't wait to go back!

Chloe is so silly, she comes up with new noises every day. Many of them are starting to sound like words. Her favorite word is still "ELLA!" I put that in caps because she never just says it, she yells it!

Since I was telling ya'll about her noises I had to throw this video in here. Chloe L-O-V-E-S back rubs! Not the kind you give with your hands but with our adult back massager! When she comes into our room she crawls over to the dresser and tries to get it out if it is not already out!

Ella loved going down the zipline on the bouncy bus! This was their Valentines day party at school.

These are Ella's friends and classmates at her school. (Mother's Day Out)

On Valentines my mom always made a very special meal, complete with decorations and fancy china for us. I wanted to continue the tradition with my family!

Kelly was excited there were 4 courses, starting with yummy alfredo fondue!

I try and help my mom out around the house whenever I can. Sometimes I even help out secretly so it will be a surprise for her to find later. She caught me in both of these instances but that's okay, at least now she KNOWS who is doing all the extra work around here!

Going to the sea center was fun and I have been counting down all week! There are lots of fish there but I like the sharks the best. Of course as soon as I saw them I yelled "NO, NO Sharks!" at the top of my lungs about 5 or 6 times just to make sure they didn't get any ideas about eating me. After a reminder about "inside voices" from my mom I was ready to explore. I really liked the pet tank. However it took me a long time to get my nerve up to 'pet' a crab, (petting seashells required much less courage) but the guy holding it told me it wouldn't hurt me. Of course I made my mom pet it first, once she did it I poked it on the head real fast. In case you are wondering what I said after I touched it... I said "GROSS!"

Ella was very excited when it became windy enough to fly her kite from Santa. We had to help her a few times but she really got it! The best part is listening to her giggle the entire time she is running!

I was feeling a little left out after Ella got a jeep for Christmas and was driving around everywhere, so I talked Pawpaw into letting me drive his truck around the block and take the family to look at Christmas lights! (Pawpaw & Mimi let me do whatever I ask) I did really good besides the fact my mom and dad kept talking to me which made me turn around to look at them. Other than that, I think I am going to skip the 'toy jeeps' and go straight for the real thing! That ought to give my dad a few more gray hairs!

Reindeer Hunting - by Kelly

I told my girls I would be gone for a couple of days because I was going to look at reindeer. (In reality I was going hunting with my dad.) Needless to say I did get me two deer but for my girls I brought them back two reindeer. They are pretty soft and make a kissing noise when you hug them. Chloe's reindeer is mainly used for her to chew on the antlers and Ella sleeps with hers which she named Rudolph, of course.

This video is a little dark but you can hear Chloe which is the main thing. And yes, I will do just about anything to get my daughter to laugh, including, but not limited too, making silly noises, snorting, making faces and talking in a silly voice. However, the end result of Chloe's laughter is worth every bit of silliness! (Chloe's daddy has been known to do these things as well! I am not alone in this... although please note whose name she says at the end of the clip!)
